Event introduction
Sponsored by the Macao Youth Federation, the Guangdong Youth Federation and the Macau-Guangdong Youth Exchange Promotion Association.
Enrollment
It provides a platform of communication for young people in Macao. Through visiting and inspecting relevant regions and institutions in Guangdong Province, the youth in Macao can learn about the current development and culture of different fields.
1. Content
The event encourages participants to form into groups voluntarily. Schools, associations and youths are welcome to decide their own tour themes and itineraries. The Macao Youth Federation and the Guangdong Youth Federation will assist in arranging visits. Young people from various sectors can also sign up individually for an established tour group.
2. Participants
Youth aged 18-45, with Macao Resident Identity Card.
3. Form
After the launch ceremony, the groups voluntarily formed choose 1 or 2 days before November 30 to undertake activities. Every group should have at least 5 to 20 members with one leader responsible for liaison. Individual participants are required to submit an application form to the Macao Youth Federation, and the groups voluntarily formed must submit an activity plan (Please refer to Attachment 1 of the Constitution).
4. Subsidy
The Federation will pay 80% of the group fee for every participant, which is no more than MOP$500/day, or MOP$1,000/2 days. The subsidy is only applicable to transportation, accommodation, insurance, etc. Approved groups can obtain half of the budget before setting out, and the rest of the fees will be reimbursed against documented proof within one month after the activity is completed and the activity report is submitted. Before setting out, every group must pay MOP$200/day/person or MOP$400/2 days/ person as deposit; the fees will not be refunded in the case of absence. The amount of reimbursement is determined by the number of group members.
5. Summary
Every group must submit a report to the Federation after the activity is completed (Please refer to Attachment 2 of the Constitution), and the reimbursement fees will be received after the report is submitted. The content of the report includes summary, members’ impressions, financial settlement and photos, etc.
